Public Safety Announcement

This project focused on a public safety announcement important to me. I chose to focus on anxiety and how it can overtake a person’s life. This mental health illness is hard to fight, and it is important to me because many people in my life struggle with anxiety. For this project, I first took a photo of myself and then cut the photo into pieces to represent a shattered mirror. I then incorporated elements such as a crying eye, social media icons, and eyes to portray how one feels when facing anxiety. These feelings include judgment, shame, and fear due to the presence of social media and how it can influence people the wrong way. My target audience focused on college students because I wanted this PSA poster to relate to people my age and beyond.
